What was your favorite subject in school?
Economics, world cultures, history, etc. and English if we’re talking about K-12. Latin was enjoyable too.
Not much to say, but I say it here if I do.

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?
Joe Biden, when he was still the Vice President.
It was then I realized the charisma it takes to be a politician.
What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.
Go to law school.
If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
Oof, this is a tough one. I would have it invested for a scholarship program. I’d recruit a team of financial experts to maintain the funds.
What’s your all-time favorite album?
If I had to pick, Peripheral Vision by Turnover.
It’s nice talking with people around my age. I feel like I have to hide myself in most situations. Especially at work.
Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
I use reusable shopping bags. My city and many of the surrounding communities banned plastic bags, which is nice since I rarely see one as litter.
I use a water bottle rather than plastic ones. I recycle. I take public transportation and ride my bike if possible.
I wrote this in December, when I was working in my hometown:
I’ve been back home for a month. They asked for volunteers to go to my hometown to help for the holidays, so I jumped at the chance.
It’s a lot easier here. Even the city routes are only a few miles of walking. I’m used to 15 miles. Park and loop. There’s a lot more mounted delivery here, and not just in the suburbs.
I know the area better and feel confidence I don’t in Pittsburgh. I know Pittsburgh better than most of the residents, but still. It’s a different beast. Hills and all.
Even in suburban areas, there are cluster boxes or mounted boxes. In Pittsburgh, most of the boxes are on the wall next to the front door. Suburban and urban.
The rough areas have more dangerous dogs. They say smaller dogs are more likely to bite but the bigger dogs bite harder. It doesn’t make a difference to me. I hear an unkept dog and skip the house.
I’ve gotten messages from a few people asking when I’d be home. I don’t actually know. If they don’t have work for me through Christmas, my manager says to just stay here anyway. In that case, I’d travel back the 26th. Maybe 27th.
As for the new year… I don’t know. At this age, I don’t really care. But if at the last minute I do, Pittsburgh is where I want to be. Belvedere’s or something like that. If I’m here, I don’t know… HMAC maybe. I’m friendly with a handful of people there.
It’s almost been a year since I moved. I finally made regular as a mailman. It sucked and still sucks but less. The supervisor we got a few months back is decent.
Outside of my work…. well, my life is work. And work is my life. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve met a few people but not as many as I wish I had. I’m trying to find some new activities to get involved in.
My one sister has her baby and my other sister is doing her thing out west and my mom is in the Baltic states. And I’m here, not doing much. Things could be worse, and they have been… but I wish they were great once in awhile.
Natural lighting, desk with storage, comfortable chair, fountain pens.
